i know how it feels
when i see you smile (:

No matter how long we exist,
we have our memories.
Points in time which time itself cannot erase
Suffering may distort my backward glances
but even to suffering,
some memories will yield nothing of her beauty or their splendor.
Rather they remain as hard as gems.

I'm just a passerby into the lives of others, to do something nice for them, to brighten up their day, and then be forgotten.

That's as simple as it seems...

Finally... The long awaited JTS is finally here!!!

It's the 27th of December 2008, and it marks the end of JTS, the time of waiting and waiting and waiting the money that I've saved to be spent. (It really hurts to see money that you cannot spend lying there beside your wallet...)

Today is also the day that I gave out the christmas cards I did for Welco and those who accompanied us to our JTS! (i.e. CF and Jamie)

Erm, sorry arh CF, cos your card was like rushed out when I disappeared at the hotel when everyone thought I went to 'clear' everything out before the buffet, the handwriting will be quite bad. Cos I did not know that you were going there for JTS too. Or else I would have made it earlier. =) [In case there are jealous ppl out there who are complaining that I nvr make cards for them, erm, sorry arh, cos I only had the time to make for a welco and those coming for JTS. But I hope I'll have more time to do it next year, since A levels will be over! Hahaz. =)]

Yups, then I'll never forget the four series of christmas cards (just like the Nokia series)

  1. The christmas hat series

  2. The silhouette series

  3. The hand-made series (I drew the pictures myself)

  4. The 'paper-cut' series

Yups, then after JTS, Jian Ming, Javier, April, Candhira, Pynx, Ming Wei, Julia and I went to Kpool. Wow, it was quite fun actually, knowing the fact that I've played for 3 years but only 3 times. Hahaz. It really felt great to play again. (First time paying though... hahaz)

Hahaz, then here's a picture of all of us that went for JTS [except CF and Jamie cos I dunno where they went out to. =) ]

Wow, long time no blogged liao!

It's already christmas! Hahaz! And now I'm like blogging for my christmas day! =)

Erm, perhaps I shall start with my christmas eve. It is super boring cos I can only spend the day at home with rain all around and then go to bed... (The rain is like sort of reflecting my feelings [i.e. emo] cos my handphone is spoilt...)

But at least I got to spam MSN messages at 12am on Christmas day. That was something nice. Got to talk to some people that I've forgotten, but only 1 or 2 sentences...

As for christmas... (It was a disaster)

Firstly, this year's christmas had no christmas mood at all...
My family went out to Maccitchie reservoir (I dunno if the spelling is right or wrong) with my relatives...
and we like had loads of 'fun' there... (notice the 'fun'...)

Firstly, we went there and had some food and i was the only 'high' person there, and I got tired of it...

We went for a walk (expedition) for a short while and the base camp was attacked by monkeys... so 'cool'...

Then we had to rush back and had to finish up 50% of the food, before we can lighten our load and walk the expedition again, this time with everyone.

Then the walk was like 'everyone was talking to each other in small groups' and then we had to walk for 2km (ON CHRISTMAS!!! WTH...)

That was okay, cos we saw a lot of fishes in the reservoir and it was quite nice... (That was one of the best thing...)

Then when we walked the outside route back to the carpark, it was super long too, and we even saw a snake on the railings, then I was like smiling to it, cos it was like so boring that i cannot smile at anyone else except for crapping some lame pokemon jokes...

Then we had loads of food that was like 'so cold', then played some games with my cousins (The yes and no game and some lame poker game)

The yes and no game was like they told a scene of a crime, like someone died after a scenario, then we're supposed to ask questions that require yes and no answers and the ending of the story really has no link to that story. Really must use your imagination...

Then the poker game was something like 'stress', something like an icebreaker game. A group of people sit in a circle and since we know each other, we will come up with stupid names for ourselves with 2 syllabus and then when we flip open cards over and over again and see two identical cards, the two of them must compete to see who knows whose name faster, and it was like super confusing...

After that we had to go home and then christmas mood was already spoilt... A day at macritchie... no christmas mood at all...

Then at home, I attempted to first save christmas for myself then my family, so I watched 'home alone 3' DVD. Really thought christmas had hope to be saved after watching that show...

But after that, I tried to save christmas for my family, cos they oso did not feel the christmas mood. I took out my guitar and then wanted to sing some christmas carols with my family...

But then at first my mum was hesistant and when she was done, my brother was like unwilling to sing, and the reason he gave was that he dun like the videocam looking at him...
But in actual fact, his CCA mates are like super bugging him cos he has CCA 2moro (last minute call), then he has to do alot of things...
Then he was damn sian...
Spoilt the mood for the whole family...

My dad then made it worse by commenting on my lousy planning, that everyone is tired liao. I just dun wanna say anything... i just want to save christmas, what the hell is wrong with that????!!!!!! ARRRHHHHH!!!!

Mark my words... Next year's christmas won't fail...!

Today we sent April off to Korea...

(We = Me, Ming Wei, Louis and Louis's friend/April's old tuition friend)

And today I've spent lots of $$ on SMSing, but I think still within my budget. =)

This is how the story goes...

Firstly, we made our way to the airport and I received an SMS from April.

"Heyhey! I'm checking in in half an hour's time. =) So you just stay home and rest okay?"

But the point was that we have already reached the airport. (At this time April still thought I was coming alone)

Then we thought of going in ourselves to surprise her, but then she was not where she is supposed to be... (We even mistook someone as April, looked so much like her, hahaz)

Then I told her that I've reached, and the message goes like this:

"Hahaz! I reach already then tell me! There are you now arh?" (It was meant to be 'Where' instaed of 'there')

Then April was like quite shocked and asked me where I was.

Just then, she walked past us, just a few steps away, not noticing our council slingbag and louis's short hair.

Then we sent her a message to tell her that we can see her and we moved into hiding behind a giant flower pot.

Then she was like looking around and around for us, but just couldn't see us, no matter how obvious we were. (Maybe too excited for her trip! =) )

Then she was like asking us where I was and we replied that I was actually at home, just kidding her.

Then she was like asking me about whether I have any problems managing Welco stuff or not... and then that was when we appeared, walking past her and tapping on her shoulders, and we told her, "Everything is under control! Hahaz!"

At that instant, her face had the very shocked look. Not very sure how it looked now, but just simply priceless. hahaz.

And after that we talked and we talked and she went back to her family and we disappeared behind a giant flower pot, and when she turned back, we were gone again, but the look on her confused face was priceless once again.

But then after she went to check in we went to talk and talk and talk, until she went in.

It was truly a very fun night today and I'm sure my dear chair will be sooooo touched by us.

This is the picture we took together! =)

A smile, ever so pure...
something that no practice can ever bring it out...
it reflects the feeling from your heart...
it's pure...

This is my life, my path, my way...
this smile has been a gift from my family, 31st and the many people around me...
this is a gift, not something that I've honed...

I reassure you guys that my smile will continue to be there...
that it will never fade...

And at the same time...
I am so gonna show you guys what I'm really made of...
not only by my smiles...
my optimism...

I'm gonna prove myself !!!

(Special thanks to Elysia for the long long long long SMS she sent me, so touched, brought back the smile for me)
