i know how it feels
when i see you smile (:

No matter how long we exist,
we have our memories.
Points in time which time itself cannot erase
Suffering may distort my backward glances
but even to suffering,
some memories will yield nothing of her beauty or their splendor.
Rather they remain as hard as gems.

Hahaz... here I am to crap cos I've got some lame ideas to spare...

Hmmm...

Yups, this was something my dad told me yesterday!

老板- 老是看着天花板
经理- 经常没事做找人来修理
员工-原来只有我做工

damn cool right?

Hahaz, and being random, this is just some stuff my brothers and I crapped out out of the blue...

The theory behind how tuition is useless to students...

When a student is forced to go for tuition, he has less time to do his own school work, and even have to do his tuition work and go for tuition (duh, that takes time too...)

And if he has to complete the work (or else teachers will scold...), he will have to sleep less...

If he sleeps less, then it will mean that he will have less energy to listen to his teacher in class the next day (maybe will get scolding for sleeping in class too)

Then if he cannot listen, he might fail his exams and have to go for more tuition to catch up with work...

Then the cycle just continues...

non-stop...

Yups, and that's why...
parents...
stop forcing your children to tuition...
unless they can really cope with it... =)

It's super saddening for me cos today was invest...
cos it's like there are many things taken away from me on this very day...
and life will never be the same for me again...

It was invest today...
and the first early morning gift I got was from the NS SMS to inform me to go for my medical appointment today at 3pm....
then I was like WTH...
cos I called a few weeks ago and the person even asked me to ask my teacheer (Mr S) to send a fax over before it was approved for the change in medical appointment date...
and then she told me that she was gonna send me the letter, but after a few weeks, no letters and this is what i get...

Luckily the person on the line today was quite good and said that she'll send the letter to me very soon. I just hope this time nothing goes wrong or else I'll be charged with something that is not my fault? WTH...

But anyways, that spoilt my whole morning cos I actually wanted to have a nice, good breakfast after a morning run, but had to rush out of home to make the phone call before lessons...

But anyways, everything was solved, but I still got a bit of doubt in me... nonetheless...

So yups, invest came... (cutting out all the useless details...)

Jamie's speech almost made me cry... but only the tingling feeling... I love the part that she's dedicated to us...

Mr Kwek thanked us for our projects, and I'm so proud of welco (Welco, we rock! We've achieved our professional welco! hahaz!)

The badge pinning was supposed to be emotional, but in the end, a prick on my finger by my own badge made me wake up...
(I'm really sorry Julian, but your collar was too hard to pierce that I bent my badge and had poked my finger, then the blood was like made your white shirt a little dirty)

So anyways, went back to seat, took a grand exit and made a clumsy way back to seat...
so that was when we watched the video created by april...
It was super nice thinking back on some of the memories, which are quite recent, but the words that can make people cry, they scroll too fast... so fast that at one slide when I almost wanted to cry, it went back down cos I couldn't really think much in that short amount of time...
But the video was seriously very nice...

So after that it was about the end of investiture (seriously, the pledge I've nvr memorised it before... shhhhh, don't tell anyone...)

Of course, I ate a lot during the refreshments, ate the pizza treat Mr S had for us, played basketball and badminton, danced mass dance... (not in chronological order...)

The video that Mr Lim made was damn cool too! It was like super nostalgic with all the old old photos... and it made me almost cry again... To tell you the truth, I didn't know mr lim was actually such a sweet person... gan dong, gan dong...

Received loads of gifts from many people today, and we vice-chairs gave out some! We rock man! Bwahahaha!

So yups, was super sad when we had to leave our council room for 32nd, and I really hope they can take care of the room (seriously, the wall feels empty now...)

I'll miss you, council room, but don't miss me... =)

~~~~~
I just have too many things I wanna tell everyone...
To 31st...
It has really been a great time working with all of you all these while. I can never imagine another group of people that I'll work with that I'll be so happy with, that I'm willing to do crazy things for, to cry with, to go through thick and thin together. 31st, we've indeed gone through a lot together, and I just hope things don't end here. We may have stepped down, but it will not change the fact that you all are the ones that give me the drive to appear in school everyday... We may have lost our common meeting place (council room), but we've definitely meet up in school... We may not be able to do 'sai-kang' together anymore, but the memories will never fade... we will remember the days that we've worked so hard together, the days we've done things together, and the days that we've celebrated together. You guys make me understand the true meaning of love and dedication, and the true meaning of life, the reason behind my smiles... without all of you, I'm nothing but the same old person I was before... Without you guys, I would not have loved the stage more... would not even have stepped up on it... for you guys, I'm willing to sacrifice my time to help you all in your studies, to study so that I can help you guys... I'm sure our time together had not been wasted. I've grown, we all have grown, and the memories I had with you guys will stay forever and ever...
31st! I love you!
To Welco...
We've all gone through so much together for the past one year... thank you for allowing me to do my duties as a vice-chair, and I'm so proud of all of you! We have got so many projects implemented! And I'm sure whenever I go to school, I can proudly show-off that the things are suggested by the 31st student council welfare committee! We've indeed grown as a committee, and it's like we've achieved our goal, that is to work towards a 'professional welco'. I think that we're already at that standard, nomatter what people say to us... I actually have a list of special descriptions for your job scopes for each and everyone of you, and trust me, they are professional stuff... We are very 'zai'! Woohoo! Now that we've stepped down and that we won't have a chance to work as a committee again, I must say that we'll always be there to enjoy together, and welco is always the best, and 'you'll be in my heart!'. I really wanna thank you all, so much, so much, for all the wonderful memories of working with all of you as a committee! =)
Welco! We did it! And I love you all!
Invest is over, now it's time for the next batch to shine, and I really wish you all all the best in your conquest to shine, but I'm sure you'll will give your best, and never forget the lessons that we've taught you in during council camp... I love you all too! Yeah! Must Jia you okay? Woohoo! 32nd rocks!
~~~~~

There are like so many things taken from me in just one day...
just one invest, and everything is taken away...
life isn't gonna be the same for me again...
I've lost many things...
time is cruel...
but one thing is for sure, that I must agree with April, that 31st will always be 31st.

I may have lost council room, lost my badge, lost many other important things, but what I will never lose is the memories that we had... those that will keep me going on. Thank you 31st, really thank you.

Today was last GM...

Loads of last minute informations and reflections...

The reflections was done is two parts...

The first one was just to write the message to 31st... Had many people to thank, but one page is too little, though my font is small, so I just kinda wrote things to 31st as a whole...

The second one is now called 'pass the book'. Whoa, it was really long and tiring... took like 2 hour plus 3? Writing and writing and writing notes for each other... "Just for me..."

After which I had loads of fun taking photos with 31st... and I really wanna get the photo of 31st, welco and orientation ad hoc and acknowledge them for the photo collection thingy for project vibrant colours...

Okies, and I had really much fun reading through my council book too... am very touched... I didn't know that so many people actually acknowledged all that i've done for them, and they'd missed my cheerfulness and lame jokes...

I am really sorry that I've been feeling down these few days, but for all of your sake, I'll pull through and be back again, ready to lend a helping hand! Hahaz!

Yups, and right now there's only 7 days left... I'm gonna miss 31st... I'm gonna miss council room... I'm gonna miss council work...

But one thing is for sure...

We'll definitely meet up...

and...

Once a councillor, always a councillor, whether on duty or off duty, whether with or without council room...

I love 31st and Welco! =)
